Resepi - Chinese style (dessert)

After worked, I watched TV3 5 Rasa 5 Rencah By Chef Lian Sherson. At first Im not interested watch this program, after I found out this guy kinda very fluent speaking in Bahasa Malaysia. He is mix chinese british and very creative with his culinary.

On fast step, I just found a simple dessert he made. I try the recipe right after the show fin.
Here the dessert. (I don't know the name for this menu)



You just need, the glutinous rice flour, Warm Water and mix it together till it turn to dough. How to make sure the dough done? Simple, make sure the mixture doesn't stick with your hand. (before that clean your hand). When its look perfect, get color for it. Its up to you. I just have green color so i seperate this dough into 2. One with green color and other one original.


Boil water, gula melaka and a few cm of ginger. Make sure you chop the gula melaka so it will easy melting. 


While waiting the soup@gravy boil, take the dough and take a spoon size of it and rounded. Then boiled in the plain water. How to know its cook? You will see the ball will  arise on the surface. Then take it out the put it in cold warm water so it will not stick together. 


To finish it, take the cook rounded ball, into a bowl than add the gravy. Make sure you taste before the gravy@soup the sweetness.
